Configuration Manager

Job description:
• Responsible for RealEC configuration management, data management, configuration identification and control, standards and procedures development, release management, configuration status accounting, configuration auditing, and CM training/advocacy.
• Responsible for implementing application and system configuration change control initiatives to ensure a successful migration path from development to production and disaster recovery sites; accounting for each element within the scope of the overall system.
• Responsible for the establishment of a CMDB and the planning, identification, control, monitoring, and verification of configuration items within the RealEC platform.
• Responsible for verification and execution of software deployment scripts through development, test, and (ultimately) the production environment.
• Supports the implementation of new hardware and software infrastructure changes with IT. • Communicates to appropriate audiences' major application, infrastructure or other technical changes that may impact the day-to-day operations and/or existing customer functionality. • Coordinates among teams to identify operational risks, challenges, or inefficiencies and recommends and implements solutions.
• Remains in-tune with new developments, trends, and utilities in e-Commerce operations. Works closely

with the development teams and IT to research, analyze and support the strategic use of website technologies.
• A minimum of three years experience with e-Commerce and other customer facing technologies.
Skills:
• Experienced in developing and implementing configuration management programs and processes in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Experience implementing a CMDB and managing configuration items.
• Dedicated team leader with well-developed communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in an operational role working with e-Commerce technologies
• Experience working with various communication and file transfer methods.
• Ability to handle multiple high priority items simultaneously.
