Network/Systems Administrator
Duration: 6+ months contract
Location: Saint Petersburg, FL
Job description:
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Troubleshoots server, software and hardware issues.
Assists with recommending, scheduling and implementing system hardware and/or software upgrades or repairs.
Researches, evaluates and recommends software and hardware products.
Benchmarks and tunes server hardware and software for optimal system performance.
Performs capacity planning and monitoring.
Qualifications:
Associates degree
3-5 years of IT work experience having a high level of expertise in multiple system environments; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with Microsoft Windows operating system is essential
Experience with SQL and Microsoft Access Databases
Working knowledge of system design methods and techniques
General knowledge of TCP/IP

General knowledge of IP Networks
General knowledge of technical writing principles and practices
Skill to effectively analyze and solve problems
Skill in software installation and maintenance
Ability to work independently as well as with a team
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, vendors, clients and public
