Responsibilities
• Lead the implementation of NextGen EHR
• Create and edit Electronic Medical Record (EMR) templates as needed
• Hold status meetings and communicate changes in software
• Utilize a event management system to manage tasks and issue tracking
• Ensure functionality of software and hardware involved with EMR
• Work with system users towards their department business metrics and goals
• Training of End users and Supervising managers
• Scheduling support
• EPM masterfile and feature support
• New Practice creation
• Design and build reports based on multiple user needs and requests
• Revise procedures and documentation to reflect changes in systems
• Maintain and Update Help Desk Knowledge Base
Position Requirements

• NextGen EPM and EMR certification
• Experienced with NG version 5.5 and KBM 7.7
• NextGen Template building experience
• Familiarity with interfacing to and from NextGen
• Understanding of electronic prescription process
• Experience with medical specialty clinics
• Very Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to identify risk in assignments and process changes
• Highly Self motivated and directed
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects Ability to work cohesively in a team environment
